I just became a MOD!

I am sooo excited! I just became a moderator for Scrapperie....one of my FAVORITE sites! I figure this is perfect for me since I like to talk alot! Fun with Photography

I have recently gotten more and more into taking pictures....not just pictures of my kids, pictures in general! I have been having such a great time playing with the settings on my camera and editing tools you can find online!

Here are some pictures I have taken recently, if you are not out there taking pictures just for the fun of it you should! It's alot easier than I thought and what stress relief!

Art Journals

I just got into this art journaling thing, I was not sure what to think of it, but let me tell you, it is sooo much fun! I have done three pages so far, one was tough, but I was having a hard time then with my grandfather being sick, but the other two were just TOO much fun! It felt good to do something creative just for me!

JOB INTERVIEW!

I am sooo excited! My hubby has an interview tomorrow! Please, cross your fingers for him!

I had a great weekend, my daughter was home and she was AWESOME! I have seen so much progress with her, she is just blowing all of us away...and the countdown is on until she comes home!

I also cropped with my MOM this weekend, my favorite layout EVER was created! I did a TON of distressing (Which I love to do) and this actually won me first place at the crop! I was in AWE that I won! LOL

Emotional Layout

I don't think that I have ever done a layout that made me cry...this was a first.

I decided to make a layout with some old pictures I had of myself and my Nanny. She died when I was five, and I have never truly gotten over it. I loved her so much, and through the years I have often wondered if I make her proud and tried to gauge some of my bigger decisions on that. I miss her more than words could express, so I decided to write her a letter, that was the basis for the layout....

The new Love of my Life

Okay, it totally used to be Rob Thomas, he had that hot brooding bad boy thing going on, but things have been kind of downhill for him and me since he got married, he lost that edge.

But don't worry! I have a new man to make my heart skip a beat! That's right ladies, I am in LOVE with David Cook!

Ever since he did his version of "Hello" by Lionel Richie I have been HOOKED! He is soooo sexy when he sings!
