Quick update!

Well, I have not been able to update because my lovely daughter Hannah decided that spilling soda on the tower of my computer was a good idea! LOL
I can laugh now because a friend of mine, PAT had an extra computer sitting at his house (I know, who just has computers lying around?) and he let us have it! He is such a sweetheart!
I scrapped all day long with my Mom today, we had a crop at Tallyscrapper and I was also working on some stuff for another crop! Wow....busy busy busy!
I will do a better blog tomorrow, complete with some pics and hopefully some interesting stuff to say!

Sick babies, kabobs, shucking corn and girlfriends!

Well, my babies are not feeling well today. Hannah woke up this morning with a fever of 102....yep, and then Olivia developed a nice little cough! I am sure the next few days will be good ones!

I had an interview this morning, fingers crossed, it was a tough one! All kinds of weird what would you do questions....I hate those things! LOL...I think I did well, but we shall see!

Yesterday was Memorial Day, and we had a GREAT time! We BBQ'd out back, made steak Kabobs and corn on the cob....mmmmmmmm........

Olivia helped shuck the corn...

Oh, and don't forget the Watermellon!

My friend Pat stopped by with his new girlfriend Jaime....LOVE her! She is soooo sweet, I really hope the two of them last, they seem so good together, and so natural, it's great to see him so happy!

To round 4 of the Gauntlet challenge on Scrapperie....I am a little sad, I really wanted to be a Tres Chic girl! LOL, but hey, it's not the end of the world, and the talent in that gallery is AMAZING!

I will however be participating still in the second chance rounds, still lots of good stuff up for grabs and the challenges Sandi is throwing out there are EXCELLENT!

They don't get much better than that!

Today My father and I took my oldest two, Marissa and Olivia to the Arts festival along the riverfront....we had such a GREAT time!

We saw some really cool art of all kinds, heard some original music, paintings, jewelrey making, ethnic art, food from just about anywhere you can imagine, and games and interactive stuff for the kids!

I think Olivia's favorite part was seeing a local children's theatre group called the Popcorn Hat Players. They were a two person show today and pulled off a very entertaining (and freakin' hillarious) version of sleeping beauty! I got their info so I could take the girls to see them again!

I think Marissa most enjoyed holding the lizard and the bird. The Lizard was for free, the bird was a $3 donation to the Vets....a more than worthy cause in my opinion, so I donated double!

My favorite part? Spending a beautiful day along the riverfront with my Dad and children. Days rarely come as good as that!

Seriously bad movies and dressing my dog.....

Not much went on around here yesterday, in fact, we were sooo bored we decided to dress up poor Juno....

I don't think I need to tell you that she was NOT happy with her little apron....her expression kind of makes that clear! LOL

I had to go to Wal-Mart to get pictures for my round 3 entry in The Gauntlet over at SCRAPPERIE and my husband asked me to pick up this movie he wanted to see...

It is called In the Name of the King. It has a pretty big cast list, so I was thinking it wouldn't be soo bad! The cast included Leelee Sobieski, Claire Forlani, Matthew Lillard, Ray Liota and Burt Reynold.

Boy, I really hope they fired their agents for this one! Wow...never seen a worse movie. Considering they were supposed to be in the time of kinds and queens and knights....none of them had the same accent, and when the "big" battle scene came....and I use the term lightly....they busted out NINJAS!?!?!?!?! WTF!

If your man asks you to sit and watch this with him.....RUN, run hard, run fast, run as far as you can, because I have never in my LIFE seen a movie that SUCKED this bad!

INTERVIEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today Today.....well, it's been interesting.

I got to work this morning and the man I assist got in the shower, next thing you know the fire alarms are flaring and lights flashing...poor old man, I had to rush him out of the shower! There was apparently a small fire in the home, but nothing major, thank goodness everyone was okay!

I came home and got two phone calls back to back....not that unusual, but they were both to set up JOB INTERVIEWS! I am soooo excited! Both were my top choices for jobs, so fingers crossed, hopefully I will get one!

I took and printed my Pics for The Gauntlet Challenge over at SCRAPPERIE....I think I will work on that layout tomorrow.

Today? I did a layout, but what I am most proud of, because I had never done it before, is my lunch bag album! Check it out!

I did it with Hannah's Second Birthday pics....I really LOVE the way it turned out!

Yesterday we.....

Me and the hubby took the kids to a local pet store called That Fish place yesterday. We also took Olivia's cute little friend Eve. They had a blast, we visited the reptile room, the touch tank with the sting rays and the flying fish and then into the fish room with all the fresh AND saltwater setups! I took some crappy pics with my cell....cause I forgot my camera AGAIN!

We had SUCH a great time! And no...the cobra is FAKE! But I wanted to see how many of you went WTF! They have cobras? LOL

I went to my Mom's last night and we ended up having a LONG heartfelt talk about all kinds of stuff that has just been crashing down on me, it ended in tears and hugs....it felt good.

I came home and had the same talk with my husband, cause I guess he should know these things too, right? LOL

He was SOOOOO sweet and supportive! I just could not BELIEVE how well he handled my girly snotting and bawling about really trivial stuff and even some accusations I had made to him....he owned what he needed to and promised to try harder....so far so good!

I am such a LUCKY GIRL!
