I lost my internet due to a virus destroying my computer. I chose not to fix it since I was gearing up to move in with my parents......so I have NOT been online in a VERY long time! Sorry!
We are all moved now, and things are beginning to settle....I was just working on setting up our craft room (yeah) and then Mom and I can go Scrap Crazy! It's been forever since I have had time to do a page....
And let me tell you, combining two Scrap-addicts stashes is not an easy task!
I have missed you all and will be checking in everywhere over the next few days!

Just stuff

Nothing exciting here, but I thought I would update anyway.
I had off work this weekend, and my husband and I took the girls to Mt. Gretna lake to go swimming....we had a GREAT time! The girls played well, listened well and had soooo much fun! We packed lunches and had a picnic and just spent the day together!
Work is going well, I am adjusting to the new scheduele still, but I am getting there!
I miss all my scrappy time I used to have, but the money is nothing to complain about!
Olivia has her appointment with the endocrinologist tomorrow, hopefully they can tell me what is up with my little puffy princess! Wish us luck!

The dog is gone :(

Yes, over the weekend my dearest puppy Juno ran off while I was at work.....she has not returned. My husband went looking for her and we have called all the animal shelters to no avail.....she has disappeared.
I miss that little turd more than I thought I would.....she got into SOOOOO much trouble on a daily basis and sometimes I just wanted to strangle her.....but I miss her little puppy kisses, her puppy cuddles and just her loving on me when I walked in the door, even if I was only gone for 5 minutes......
I think I will have to do a In Memory Of Juno layout.....hmmmm......
Anyway, I am off today, no work for this chicka! I have been working on a set of ATC to send out to some peeps and I will be able to finish that up, and then on to the layouts!
My wonderful husband took the time to seriously clean the house last night while I was at work so I could relax today, he is soooooooo sweet!
Anyway, look for me on the boards! I will be checking in everywhere and hopefully scrapping my heiny off!

Wow!

It has just been a busy busy week! With counting the ballots for the Ice Cream Social Crop over at Scrapperie and working, I have had almost NO free time to scrap, none the less, write a blog entry!
Well, things are good here on the homefront....Marissa is coming home for the weekend, the transition to working has gone really well and none of the kids are sick for once! I just couldn't ask for more than that!
I have to say, that the crop over at Scrapperie was soooo much fun, and I was honored when Sandi asked me to be the sites EVENT COORDINATOR!!! What an HONOR! I quickly went to work setting up the next event, and decided to do a monthly contest for the cute LTD kits she sells! If you have not checked out the site before, you really should, we have some GREAT stuff coming up in the VERY near future!

It's been awhile....bad me!

It's been tough with starting the new job to get a chance to blog! Sorry about that....well, here we go....

Not too much going on other than work stuff....I passed my big test with a 99%! I was soooo proud of myself! I was really worried, they crammed so much information into three days and tested us on the third that I just didn't know if I would be able to remember it all!

I start some new training stuff tomorrow, including first aid and cpr, along with med training going through wednesday....Thursday I actually get to start my shift and shadow for a few days before being on my own about the middle of next week, I cannot WAIT to get started for real!

I just finished a cute ATC for a contest on TallyScrapper, and I don't know what to do with it.....if you want it leave me a comment and I will randomly pick one person whom I will announce next weekend.....

To let everyone know that I am still alive!
I have been at orientation all this week, and it is SOOOO overwhelming going back to work after so long....I am just exhausted! And all I have done is sit in a room and listen to people talk!
I start some more hands on training tomorrow, learning the practices of the hospital in not so good situations, I have to learn how to restrain people safely....should be interesting!
Next week I have CPR and First Aid training which I am VERY excited to have!
Anyway, I miss you all! Sorry I am not around much, I just have homework and stuff from the orientations and just plain tired....can't WAIT until my regular shift starts and I can fall into a routine!

Hey all! It's Friday! I am feeling gooooood too! Marissa is coming home today for the weekend, Chris will be off, I start work Monday which means I get to go shopping for new clothes AND my neighbor is training my puppy....she is doing soooo well, that we may NOT have to get rid of her at all! Yipppppeeeeeeeee!
I got two packages this week, yep, two......some random stuff from Tally including some bling and Scrapperie's June Kit The Lake House....I am LOVING them both! The kit at tally comes out Sunday and it looks ROCKIN'!!!! (my tallygirls get it)
I wasn't planning on ordering it when I saw the sneak peek, it's soooo bright, but when the AMAZING girls on the DT started showing it off I just couldn't help myself! I cannot WAIT to get my hands on this one! It looks like sooooo much fun!

Hey there!

I know, I know, it's been awhile since I posted, but I have NOT been feeling good! I finally went to the doctor's office yesterday and all but got yelled at....I have a "MASSIVE" ear infection (her words not mine) and a sinus infection.....hmmmmm......I guess that explains why I can't hear right? LOL
I got some anti-biotics and hopefully will feel better before I start the new job next week! Alot of you have asked what I will be doing......
I will be working with children with mental disabilities ranging from Autism to ADD/ODD and other behavioral stuff.....I am VERY excited! As most of you know, my daughter Marissa struggles with ADHD and Bi-Polar disorder and I have been through it ALL with her....I just wanted to give back a little to other kids that may be having similar problems, I want to be for them what some of the people where Marissa is have been to her.....does that make sense?
Anyway, Chris is doing GREAT at his job, he is loving being back to work and is a MUCH happier man!
The girls are doing good, Hannah is a holy terror, the epitomy of the terrible two's.....Olivia is her sweet princess self, and Marissa is doing GREAT learning to cope with her emotions and should be home for good by the end of the month!
The only other big news here, my husband and I.....after long and tortorous consideration, have decided that we can no longer keep Juno, our huskey mix puppy. She is such a sweet girl, but she still pees in the house, despite our best efforts AND she has run out the door 5 times this week ALONE! With me going back to work, Chris working, we just don't think we can handle her any more.....it breaks my heart, as she is MY puppy and was a gift to me, but we just can't handle it anymore......we will be taking her to the humane society this weekend, and hopefully she will find a good home with a large fenced in yard and a doggy door very quickly......
I do love her.....I hate doing this............

I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I GOT THE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WoooHOOOOOOO!
I got hired at my first choice! I start on the 16th and they even offered me 15cents an hour more than the base wage! Not too shabby considering I have never worked in the field! I am soooooooooo excited!
I start orientation next week on day shift, and then the following wednesday I will start my normal 3-11 shift! WooooHOOOOO!
I am seriously soooo excited I can hardly contain myself!

I probably just pissed everyone off.....

BUT I DON'T CARE! How are you going to post a pic or layout of yourself being flirty with a military man and have the guts to appologize to his wife if he sees it? WTF....

Letting go.....

I don't know if any of you have experienced this, but it's a first for me....
I have this one site that I frequent....I used to LOVE going there and now......well........the politics of it just piss me off to no end!
I don't know what to do, because certain things about this site I LOVE, but other things are really starting to grate on my last nerve.....not sure if I should just let it go or if I am being stupid....I don't want to go into specifics or name this site, I don't want to ruin it for anyone who may still find some pleasure in it......I just had to get it out.....
I find that the cliques are ridiculous....AND I feel that stuff is getting judged unfairly.......I don't like that there are people there who I am SURE are lying......I cannot STAND that...but it seems to happen more and more and no one seems to catch on! I don't know....perhaps I should just stop going there, but it just breaks my heart to do that because of a few when there is nothing wrong with the majority....know what I mean?
Sorry for the ramble peeps, but any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Soaking up the sun!

That is pretty much what we did today! I went into work this morning and on my way home saw that someone was GIVING away some stuff since they were moving! I hate to get free stuff sometimes cause LOTs of it is CRAP...and I have enough of that for a small country! LOL..

BUT, they were giving away a little tykes pool and playhouse! I grabbed that stuff up QUICK! I took it home and cleaned it up, then we all headed to wally world to get bathing suits for the year! The girls had a BLAST playing outside with their new toys....

and then there was my wonderful hubby, who was just happy to spray himself with the hose!

And for today at least, I am their favorite! LOL

To top it off, I won a cute little chipboard album over at YMBD for the crop they had last weekend! What a GREAT day!

Ice Cream Social

I just got to announce the first crop that I have ever hosted! It's over at Scrapperie....I am having sooo much fun coming up with challenges and putting it all together with the help of the lovely ladies that moderate with me there!
I have taken everything I love about all the crops I have ever done and tried to meld them into one big SUPER Crop!
If you are not a member, you should REALLY go check the place out! Sandi puts together AWESOME kits, at a very reasonable price, considering that she packs them FULL of goodies!
Everyone is super nice and there is ALOT going on each and EVERY week!

THE phone call~

I heard from the job I had interviewed for this morning, and the lady said she is ready to make me an offer but she has to talk it over with her boss as to what that offer will be....I am soooo EXCITED! I cannot WAIT to start there! I had such a GREAT time shadowing.....
Other than that the day has been slow so far....Hannah is napping, Olivia and Marissa are playing the Wii and I am scrapbooking! I am hoping to get TONS of pages done this weekend and next as I would be starting the new job on the 16th!
Thanks to all of you for the well wishes and support....it really means alot to me!

Let's see.....

I just got back from shadowing for the new job I really hope I get! It was AWESOME! The kids were great and I felt right at home, I really really really hope I get this!
Chris worked for the first time today in MONTHS! He came home filthy but happy! He seemed excited to be out earning his keep again, I like a happy hubby!
I only got to work on one card today, and I only got it half done....Hopefully I can bang a few things out tomorrow!
Not much else here, Marissa is home tomorrow for the weekend, I can't wait to scrap with her! She is also bugging to go out and play ball....boy, what torture to spend an afternoon passing with my baby! LOL
I hope the weather holds!

Second time around

Well, I got a call today from my first choice for future employment...they pay better and I would just LOVE to work for the company, I believe in their mission and have had first hand experience with their organization....well, anyway, they called me for a second interview! I go tomorrow, I am sooo excited! Honestly, this was my first interview in like 3 years, I was totally nervous and I was SURE I had blown it! Fingers Crossed!

Things here are going well, I am getting ready to make my mixed drink for my Cock Swappers group....minds out of the gutters peeps, we are swapping drink recipies! LOL....I will be making mine tonight and taking some cool pics of it....and what really sucks is I will HAVE to drink it afterward....man, that is gonna be TOUGH!

I am sooo busy right now on all my sites, moderating, ATC swaps on two, recipie swapp on one, two crops this weekend and planning another!

I am busy planning to host my first crop! I am sooo excited, it's a cyber crop, and man, I didn't realize how much work went into putting one of these together!

I will not mention where yet, as the big reveal will be FRIDAY, but I will post more about it as the reveal is made! Let's just say it is going to be YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!

This weekend has been CRAZY! I have done nothing but scrap....I have gotten a ton done, but man, I am getting burned out! I still have a few more layouts to complete for my crops, but I don't know if I will be meeting my personal goal! We'll see!

The kids and the hubby are feeling a little better, but now MY nose is running! I swear, if these heathens got me sick....well, someone better be spoiling me!

My fish have had babies, as many of you know, and now the babies are getting big enough to take pictures of! There are a TON of these things! I didn't know that sooo many babies came at one time! LOL....hey, if you live in or around Central PA and would like a fish, please, let me know....they are very quickly outgrowing the four tanks that we have!

I guess that's it for today....back to scrapping!

Sick kids

Wow....my kids and husband are a mess! They are all soooo sick....coughing, congested just generally miserable and bitchy! On the bright side, I have been working on two crops this weekend and I have gotten a TON done and am still working!

I did this one on Tallyscrapper where I had to make my own sketch, I really like the way it turned out, except the flowers look kind of stupid! LOL....I am NOT an artist! But check out this cool sketch!

Quick update!

Well, I have not been able to update because my lovely daughter Hannah decided that spilling soda on the tower of my computer was a good idea! LOL
I can laugh now because a friend of mine, PAT had an extra computer sitting at his house (I know, who just has computers lying around?) and he let us have it! He is such a sweetheart!
I scrapped all day long with my Mom today, we had a crop at Tallyscrapper and I was also working on some stuff for another crop! Wow....busy busy busy!
I will do a better blog tomorrow, complete with some pics and hopefully some interesting stuff to say!

Sick babies, kabobs, shucking corn and girlfriends!

Well, my babies are not feeling well today. Hannah woke up this morning with a fever of 102....yep, and then Olivia developed a nice little cough! I am sure the next few days will be good ones!

I had an interview this morning, fingers crossed, it was a tough one! All kinds of weird what would you do questions....I hate those things! LOL...I think I did well, but we shall see!

Yesterday was Memorial Day, and we had a GREAT time! We BBQ'd out back, made steak Kabobs and corn on the cob....mmmmmmmm........

Oh, and don't forget the Watermellon!

My friend Pat stopped by with his new girlfriend Jaime....LOVE her! She is soooo sweet, I really hope the two of them last, they seem so good together, and so natural, it's great to see him so happy!

To round 4 of the Gauntlet challenge on Scrapperie....I am a little sad, I really wanted to be a Tres Chic girl! LOL, but hey, it's not the end of the world, and the talent in that gallery is AMAZING!

I will however be participating still in the second chance rounds, still lots of good stuff up for grabs and the challenges Sandi is throwing out there are EXCELLENT!

Today My father and I took my oldest two, Marissa and Olivia to the Arts festival along the riverfront....we had such a GREAT time!

We saw some really cool art of all kinds, heard some original music, paintings, jewelrey making, ethnic art, food from just about anywhere you can imagine, and games and interactive stuff for the kids!

I think Olivia's favorite part was seeing a local children's theatre group called the Popcorn Hat Players. They were a two person show today and pulled off a very entertaining (and freakin' hillarious) version of sleeping beauty! I got their info so I could take the girls to see them again!

I think Marissa most enjoyed holding the lizard and the bird. The Lizard was for free, the bird was a $3 donation to the Vets....a more than worthy cause in my opinion, so I donated double!

My favorite part? Spending a beautiful day along the riverfront with my Dad and children. Days rarely come as good as that!

Seriously bad movies and dressing my dog.....

Not much went on around here yesterday, in fact, we were sooo bored we decided to dress up poor Juno....

I don't think I need to tell you that she was NOT happy with her little apron....her expression kind of makes that clear! LOL

I had to go to Wal-Mart to get pictures for my round 3 entry in The Gauntlet over at SCRAPPERIE and my husband asked me to pick up this movie he wanted to see...

It is called In the Name of the King. It has a pretty big cast list, so I was thinking it wouldn't be soo bad! The cast included Leelee Sobieski, Claire Forlani, Matthew Lillard, Ray Liota and Burt Reynold.

Boy, I really hope they fired their agents for this one! Wow...never seen a worse movie. Considering they were supposed to be in the time of kinds and queens and knights....none of them had the same accent, and when the "big" battle scene came....and I use the term lightly....they busted out NINJAS!?!?!?!?! WTF!

If your man asks you to sit and watch this with him.....RUN, run hard, run fast, run as far as you can, because I have never in my LIFE seen a movie that SUCKED this bad!

INTERVIEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today Today.....well, it's been interesting.

I got to work this morning and the man I assist got in the shower, next thing you know the fire alarms are flaring and lights flashing...poor old man, I had to rush him out of the shower! There was apparently a small fire in the home, but nothing major, thank goodness everyone was okay!

I came home and got two phone calls back to back....not that unusual, but they were both to set up JOB INTERVIEWS! I am soooo excited! Both were my top choices for jobs, so fingers crossed, hopefully I will get one!

I took and printed my Pics for The Gauntlet Challenge over at SCRAPPERIE....I think I will work on that layout tomorrow.

Today? I did a layout, but what I am most proud of, because I had never done it before, is my lunch bag album! Check it out!

Yesterday we.....

Me and the hubby took the kids to a local pet store called That Fish place yesterday. We also took Olivia's cute little friend Eve. They had a blast, we visited the reptile room, the touch tank with the sting rays and the flying fish and then into the fish room with all the fresh AND saltwater setups! I took some crappy pics with my cell....cause I forgot my camera AGAIN!

We had SUCH a great time! And no...the cobra is FAKE! But I wanted to see how many of you went WTF! They have cobras? LOL

I went to my Mom's last night and we ended up having a LONG heartfelt talk about all kinds of stuff that has just been crashing down on me, it ended in tears and hugs....it felt good.

I came home and had the same talk with my husband, cause I guess he should know these things too, right? LOL

He was SOOOOO sweet and supportive! I just could not BELIEVE how well he handled my girly snotting and bawling about really trivial stuff and even some accusations I had made to him....he owned what he needed to and promised to try harder....so far so good!

I am such a LUCKY GIRL!

Kick me While I'm Down

I swear, this sign is posted securly on my back! Everything and anything that COULD HAS gone wrong! I know things will look up eventually, but I just am getting tired of living in the storm clouds. I really wish we could just have a few years of calm.....
Anyway, We are gearing up to buy the new National Treasure tomorrow...Sooooo exciting! I loved the first, as did the rest of the family....and we can't wait to see the new one!

ROUND 3!!!!!!!!!!!

I made it to round 3! I can't believe it! I made the cut for Round 2 at Scrapperie's Gauntlet challenge!

The challenge this week was cards, which I am able to say I am just not great at! Not only was it cards, but they could NOT be square, rectangle or circular! Wow...that was TOUGH! But I guess I did good enough....I made it to the next round!

I love that the people that are being eliminated are still able to win prizes in the second chance round...I think that is such a NEAT idea!

Round 2!!!!!!!!

Well, I made it to round two on the Scrapperie Gauntlet challenge! I am soooo excited! This is the layout, called Simple Pleasures. I really had a tough time coming up with a layout describing me but having nothing to do with me being a mother or wife!

That was such a challenge, this week I had to make a card....I have it almost done, and WOW! I am totally NOT a card maker, so this was a really tough one for me!

I am back home now, which is nice....I miss my parents though...it was kind of nice being with them the past week, I will miss them, and I think the kids will too!

I am still moving my scrappy stuff back to my house from my Mom's....so I don't have my stuff to work on layouts until tomorrow! I wish I could, I am excited to work in my own space again!

Okay, I think it safe to officially say that I have caught the Photography bug. I have been a picture taking fool, and I must say that I LOVE expressing myself through the pictures I am taking. I love that I can take objects and through their placement tell my story. I love that I can see what I am thinking in everyday things....trees, flowers, I see things differently now...I don't quite know how to explain it!I think my new addiction is taking pictures, my second new addiction would be editing them...I am having a GREAT time with this!Here are a few pics I took and edited today...Enjoy! Feel free to tell me what you think, honestly...I am not that sensitive....

HUMP DAY!

I thought this was going to be a GREAT day....yeah, there I go thinking agian!
Things could NOT have gone worse, I have to live with my parents for a week, yep, and while I was gone and the dogs were waiting to go to my friend's house, they ripped up my furniture, my couch is unuseable now...gooood times!
We did get Marissa's room done, painted, bought a new bed, we are currently in the process of cleaning up the mess from the redecorating, too bad she won't get to see it this weekend, I was really looking forward to the look on her face!
I obviously have not gotten ANY scrapping done this week so far...I did do a layout for the Gauntlet challenge over at Scrapperie, but I cannot post it until it has been judged for this round...

Scrapbooking Hangover

Okay, I have been cropping all weekend and most of the end of last week, I think I have a scrappy hangover! I have NO inspiration at the moment, I have not brought my supplies in from the car and all I want to do is lay down and do nothing!
I am hoping to find some inspiration in The Gauntlet challenge at Scrapperie, wish me luck gals, I would LOVE to be a tres chic girl!
I purchased LOTS of fun stuff yesterday which I cannot WAIT to receive! Some new Prima and some older stuff that will be soooo much fun to work with!
Hopefully some boxes come my way soon ushering with them some inspiration!

I just became a MOD!

Art Journals

I just got into this art journaling thing, I was not sure what to think of it, but let me tell you, it is sooo much fun! I have done three pages so far, one was tough, but I was having a hard time then with my grandfather being sick, but the other two were just TOO much fun! It felt good to do something creative just for me!

JOB INTERVIEW!

I am sooo excited! My hubby has an interview tomorrow! Please, cross your fingers for him!

I had a great weekend, my daughter was home and she was AWESOME! I have seen so much progress with her, she is just blowing all of us away...and the countdown is on until she comes home!

I also cropped with my MOM this weekend, my favorite layout EVER was created! I did a TON of distressing (Which I love to do) and this actually won me first place at the crop! I was in AWE that I won! LOL

Emotional Layout

I don't think that I have ever done a layout that made me cry...this was a first.

I decided to make a layout with some old pictures I had of myself and my Nanny. She died when I was five, and I have never truly gotten over it. I loved her so much, and through the years I have often wondered if I make her proud and tried to gauge some of my bigger decisions on that. I miss her more than words could express, so I decided to write her a letter, that was the basis for the layout....

The new Love of my Life

Okay, it totally used to be Rob Thomas, he had that hot brooding bad boy thing going on, but things have been kind of downhill for him and me since he got married, he lost that edge.

But don't worry! I have a new man to make my heart skip a beat! That's right ladies, I am in LOVE with David Cook!

Ever since he did his version of "Hello" by Lionel Richie I have been HOOKED! He is soooo sexy when he sings!

Scrapping Fool!

Hi guys! I spent the weekend scrapping and got another one done last night! Here it be!

I have been having a wonderful time with my husband this week, we are just getting along so well, it seems he has found his nitch with this whole fish tank thing! It's looking really good too!

We have decided to take the leap and start dieting, so, wish us luck!

It's Sunday!

I spent the day yesterday with my Mom, I love her so much, we get together every Saturday and scrap all day long! It's great having this time with her, just us, to talk and remember days past, it's really special to me!

I WAS going to do this nice post with pics and a poll about how my daughter Olivia and I got our haircut yesterday, complete with before and after pics...this was a big deal since Olivia, who is four, has never had a real haircut, just a small trim and bangs...
So....I went to transfer the pictures from my card to my computer and they showed transferred and deleted from my card, but when I opened my files....THEY ARE ALL GONE!
I have looked everywhere and cannot find them! I don't know what to do!
If you are a techie genius and have any thoughts for me, please, please, please, leave me a comment and how to reach you....I am desperate and hoping that the 48 pics I just transferred are SOMEWHERE on my computer!

My Day

Well, it was different, that's for sure. For once the weather was half decent today, around 60 degrees, though there was next to no sun. The kids went to the doctor for shots and Olivia, my 4 year old, had to have blood drawn because they think there may be a problem with her pituitary glands....let me tell you how fun that was. I really should have taken my camera and caught on film her screaming and struggling to get away...I almost cried, it was THAT bad!

We came home to find out that my husband, who had done work for someone, was shorted on the pay. First of all, the pay was a week late, and then today over a hundred dollars short! Yeah, that just put him in an UGLY mood.

So we packed up the kids and went to Sonic for lunch.....yummy! I had never been there before and the food was actually pretty good and the slushy was OUT OF THIS WORLD!

We went to Wal-mart this evening and got the Dewey Cox Story....Walk Hard and will be watching it a little later. I am going to attach some more of my layouts to this.
